Vicki lost her Husband to a sudden heartattack in April, they had planned to redo their upstairs sitting room in an outdoorsy theme and wanted me to make a quilt for the couch, big blocks are fishing items, I figured that would be pretty outdoorsy. She plans to still do the makeover, now she will have a quilt for the room.
This is my 6th quilt this year and 2nd since I retired June 2nd. I'm starting a tube quilt for my Niece and her Daughter, both girly Girls.

I have another 5 or 6 planned to give away also. I give most of the ones I make to others.

The colors didn't turn out real good the pinkish fabric is red. Sorry they are side ways, you get the idea.

Beautiful quilt made from a beautiful heart. I'm sure she'll enjoy it tremendously. With it being a little "manly" perhaps it will help her feel close to her late DH.

I really like that! I think I have a perfect recipient for a quilt like that - one more to add to my list!

Beautiful quilt. I am sorry that he is not around to see the quilt. I'm sure it will bring some comfort for your sister in law!

I am sure your family really appreciates all your hard work. You are so generous, it must give you much pleasure to give these beautiful quilts to others.
