Watch out for that gingham! I had a really bad experience as a beginner when I put some gingham in a quilt with some 100% cottons and then ironed it all on "cotton" setting....the ginghams were at least 50/50 poly/cotton and shrink-melted (don't know how to explain it better!) and ruined the quilt as they pulled it off kilter and wrinkled with permanent, melted wrinkles. I'm sure 100% cotton gingham exists but just be careful to know what you have!!!!

That's an amazing deal. Congratulations! That will sure build your stash. Did you look at the fun tutorial for the disappearing four patch? I'm thinking what a fun summer quilt or picnic table topper that would make with the bandanas and /or the gingham. Have fun!

Well if you figure atleast $4 for sales fabric then I think you made out well as long as you like and will use it.

Such windfalls for us quilters, but makes me wonder why the person is selling out? Lost interest I guess.
