I like it, and more important your hubby likes it. The next one you can do the "right" way... LOL I always say (heard it on a quilting show) there are no mistakes, just creative oportunities.

I really like that and I am not just being kind. Love the colors and it screams I want to be cuddled. Your husband has good taste.

I think we've all had our "mess" quilts and I wouldn't even begin to post a picture of mine. :) But your quilt is very pretty in the picture and I really love your color selection (blues and browns). Let hubby keep it and just tell yourself you'll make him another one down the road.
