I would absolutey leave it the way it is. It is absolutely beautiful. Taking the top and bottom borders off will ruin it.

I would leave it. I love it just the way it is. I think it will look out of balance if you take them off. Personally, I'd rather have the quilt be a little too big.

My quilt I made for our bed is 102" x 102" and it is just perfect. I think you will be happy with the extra length. Remember that it will get a little smaller after it is quilted. I wish mine was wider so me and DH wouldn't fight over it in our sleep!

Your quilt top is very pretty..personally I would not do anything..the quilting it going to shorten it some, and when it is washed, it will shrink some..better to be a little long than a little short!

I would leave the borders on, if you take them off it would affect the overall look. You can always tuck part of it under your pillow.
