WOW!!! These quilts are BOTH lovely!

BUT - as you ask (and not becasue these quilts are not great!) - I would consider the scales of the fabrics you choose, in any project I try to combine large florals (or prints) with smaller designs and plains, plaids, dots, marble blenders etc.

I do also like to add a bit of variety and I add a fabric that includes a second colour like a multi coloured print which features blue, to a lesser or greater extent.

Keep up the great work - love the quilts!!!

Your quilts are beautiful, but I think I know what you mean about
the "wow" factor. I think it is not so much a "wow" it's just that they don't "pop" Jinny Beyer has an excellent video on you tube:

If anyone knows how to get that "wow" factor it's her.
I think every quilter should watch it twice.
She does know her colors. JMHO.

WOW I really like them!! You did a great job on them!! They are both very beautiful. I'll take them and give them a good home if they upset you that much.(hee hee hee) I like the blue on blue.
