So I went a cpl weeks ago and got the fabric at 25% off. I went back today and it's now 50%. I got 18.5 yards for $50. I may have to go back one more time. :)

The Women (at the closest Walmart to where I live) and I started a Quilt Guild in our little town. I was at the meeting the other day and they told me that the man that had decided to get rid of the fabric department is not longer with Walmart. So the stores that have fabric still will be keeping it and the other stores when they have their next renovations will be putting the fabric back in. That is what I was told. It has been on the secretive side until they were sure that is what they were going to do and apparently they came and made the announcment at the Walmart store. That's a good thing. All stores may not have been told yet. I know that the store that lost its fabric has not been told yet. There are four Walmarts that are close enough for me to go to without traveling for an hour. The furthest is about 30 minutes away. Only one lost the fabric department. The other three still have theirs and will continue to. Hope it is all on the up and up. I know that the second closest one to me just got renovated and kept the fabric.
