I just made one. I forgot about the $ store tablecloth idea and bought fleece. I purchased Velcro. I found a package with one side stick-on and one side sew-on. I stuck it to a wall in my family room - my only paneled room. I wouldn't use on a painted wall because it really has a strong grip. I sewed the other strip to the fleece. Easy, no raw edges to finish and the blocks stick very well.

Hmmm, beings this is such a cheap alternative maybe that's why I am still waiting for him to make one? LoL! Ah well, works just fine for me and they are portable too, just unpin and roll with everything still on it.
I love this idea because it is so portable. Everything clings to it ok?

Oh yes, bamamama. Everything sticks just great, even the dad-gum kitty!! LoL.
I have had the same one for over 2 years now and the other one for about a year. You could even cut them to make mini-boards to use by the machine so your pieces stay in order while making individual blocks.
