I was given some Teddy Bear Valentine's Day Fabric but not sure what to do with it. I've had it out for a while now and no inspiration has come to me. My girls love it and I just know it's meant for a quilt for them but I can't think of any patterns that this would work with, especially considering the varied sizes of the bears. Any thoughts?

A birds' eye view of it on my design wall.

Keep it whole and make a lap quilt and add some boarders. Outline the bears with quilting and put quilted hearts in the open areas.

I like the fabric... wish I had a little girl to make it for.

I would use one of the large bears as a center panel and then add borders until I got it the size I want. You could use the smaller bears in some of the borders. What fun fabric:) I'll try to attach a photo of a baby quilt I did this way.

I would keep it whole and use it like a panel. Cute hearts in the border would be great or just use solids for the border. That is darling fabric.

Applique the larger ones to a large plain block, and do the same with the samler ones to smaller blocks. Then get creative with sashing. You can use them in several different quilts. Maybe a 9 patch in between with heart prints?

I think it would make a really cute backing for a bear quilt.

Hmmmm maybe use as border fabric or make a simple block by fusy cutting some the big bears and put a small edge around them. Can you use the small bears as an inner border?
