Default Happy National Handmade Day!

A day to celebrate all the wonderful work quilters and other crafters do.

What other crafts are you involved in?

I also tinker in: embroidery/cross stitch, making wood furniture type items, chalk painting, making things for 18" dolls, miniature things, crochet, and whatever strikes my curiosity!

knit, crochet, needlepoint, cross stitch, some woodwork, wood refinishing, photography , photo editing & slideshows of vintage family photos, garden art projects ..and my most favorite of all ...the craft of playing in the dirt while terraforming the yard

A great day to celebrate!

Crafts I enjoy: Cross stitch; Cardmaking (usually with cross stitch motifs or pressed flowers); quilting, knitting, general sewing, machine embroidery, felt kits ... other as inspiration hits me ...

I love to knit, also counted cross-stitch, and making flowers with crepe paper (that's my obsession!!) When I get on a roll making flowers I can't stop!

I used to do cross stitch, (for 17 years) until I realized how much I was spending on framing. And once they are done they just hang on the wall. That is when I turned to quilting. I have also crocheted, knitted, and done needlepoint.

Quilting, counted cross stitch, embroidery, needlepoint, knitting, and crocheting. Mostly focusing on quilting now - just finished a quilt for our first grand baby. Quilting is fun and challenging.
