Been up and sewing since 3 am, just could not sleep and was tired of lying there, might as well be productive. Happy quilting day to you!

One could celebrate many variations of this day. You could dedicate the day to nothing but quilt projects. You could take one of your cozy, comfy quilts and enjoy a little afternoon nap under it......Being retired believe I might chose the nap!

Happy Quilting Day to you too!! I finally finished the scrappy quilt top I have been working on for the past two months. I love how it came out but I am more than happy that part of it is done!! I am ready to begin a new quilt project....just have to decide which one!

Happy Quilting Day! I had trouble deciding whether to go to a Quilter's Day Out show or stay home and work on my UFO completions. The UFO's won. I have finished 2 since the beginning of the year and can finish 2 more small ones today if I work hard. I hope everyone has a nice day!

I had planned on being in my studio the whole 24 hours BUT the 82 degree weather here in South Carolina called me to the yard. I have been in my yard from 10:30 to 4:30. Beautiful day. I pruned back 14 20 foot trees. Sore I am I am. Spring is just around the corner here. Robins are everywhere.

At 6pm this is what I have finished so far on the Dresden plate I am making. I used Rebecca_S tutorial from the QB to make the first few plates as trials. http://www.quiltingboard.com/tutoria...s-t148547.html ........ It is very easy after you try a few and I want to thank her for her time making and sharing the tute........So sorry. since my PC upgraded itself two days ago, I just discovered it won't load pics. The whole screen just disappears on me. .......It also won't let me use the enter key to separate paragraphs or thoughts to make reading easier. So sorry to everyone. ........peace
