Default Block within a block?

Not sure this exists but Im trying to make an Embroidered block that looks like it is in a wood frame.
Any suggestions?

You could add the window-shadow slashing to your embroidered block. Then add stippling or quilt as one unit.

Anothe option is to create a line shadow stitches around the block. Make two lines with one bigger. Add a diagonal line in the corners as needed to create dimension.

some designs have sassing and corner stone blocks in the pattern designs.

What machine and hoop size are you using for the project?
