    Default Block within a block?

    Not sure this exists but Im trying to make an Embroidered block that looks like it is in a wood frame.
    Any suggestions?

    You could add the window-shadow slashing to your embroidered block. Then add stippling or quilt as one unit.

    Anothe option is to create a line shadow stitches around the block. Make two lines with one bigger. Add a diagonal line in the corners as needed to create dimension.

    some designs have sassing and corner stone blocks in the pattern designs.
