World Rotary machines
Someone gave me this machine and cabinet. The only identification is 1) World Rotary, 2) 815-1, 3) llX5288 ( not sure if first 2 characters are numbers or letters).
Any thoughts on year, manufacturer?
Thank you!
Sandy

Welcome, Sandy. It looks like you have an 11X White sewing machine. I'm not sure which of the WRotary manuals would help, but you can find two manuals for said machines at https://www.singer.com/support if you put in "WRotary" (without the quotation marks) in the box to the left of the View Manuals box.
I have an 11X that is a little newer than yours. John did a thread about it at White Rotary 11 - Has Anyone Disassembled This Clutch?
and there is a tutorial about loading the bobbin at Directions for loading a White rotary bobbin (White Family Rotary, etc.)
Some additional information about White Sewing machines can be found at https://www.treadleon.net/WhiteSM/whites.html

I have a World Rotary treadle waiting (still!) to be fixed up. The White company made them. The person who gave it to me said it was made around 1912, but I don't know.
