Finishing Edge of GFG

I really, really, really want to keep the wonky edge, BUT can someone please help me with how to accomplish that!! I thought it would be a piece of cake, but WOW all those inside corners...ughhh!! I am also tossing around the idea of binding it...BUT again, all those insides =D

Sorry, I can't help, but I love seeing the progress of your quilt. I'm really not a pastell type of person myself but I truly like your GFG and have watched the progress so far. Curious to see how you solve this last problem.

I think the wonky edging would be nice. If you did a thin binding maybe that would go round the corners easier. What about using commercial binding it is usually a lot thinner than the fabric we use, but might not be as robust.
Other than that, I like your last picture too.

I like the 1st idea you posted. I saw a pattern for honeycomb patchwork bag in the Australian 50th edition of Quilters Companion that had it finished with the inside layered under the uneven edges of hexagons to create a smooth edge, like the examples you posted. It looked nice. Unfortunately I couldn't find it online but maybe you will have a better search :) good luck!
