I had to take the pics with flashlight (already dark over here) and the colors look much brighter than in real. Maybe some of you know the fabrics.
I got the idea from a quilt a friend of mine bought years ago (massproduction and a bit poorly made but still very nice) and I was worried about all this bias sewing but the top came out very square.
I will add binding in the same yellow fabric and cut the width back to only slightly bigger than the inner yellow border.
The size is 102 x 102 and as I plan to handquilt it, I wont be able to show the finished quilt for quite some time.

The dresden plates and the diamond stars are machine pieced and needleturn appliqued to the background squares. The border is in seminole technik.
