    Not much of a tute, but I wanted this white fabric to be beige so I poured hot coffee into a bowl and soaked it for about a half hour.

    I like it better than the tea dye method, I think it lasts longer (through washing) and stains darker.

    Plus I love the coffee smell!!! :)

    Thanks for the idea. Looks good! Will try it. Tea dying took 3 or 4 times & then just looked dingy :(

    And maybe it was just this particular fabric, but it looks great! I kept if fully submerged and used HOT coffee.

    I always use coffee, I save what is left on the pot in the am for a few days when I know I am going to dye something.
