Great look! There's about 1/2 pot left every morning so if I save it for a couple of days and then heat it up in a big pot on the stove.....should be just about right. Then maybe I can simmer the fabric for awhile (like we used to do with Rit Dye way back in the day) and it will hold up to washing better? Hmmmm.....

This post reminded me of being about 14-15 years old. My Mom made all my clothes, they were absolutely beautiful and I loved everything she made me. She made a dress for a dance class final formal. It was white with white eyelet skirt. We decided that it should have been ivory or ecru colored after it was made, so Mom said we would "tea dye" it. Of course I'd never heard of that. Next thing I knew she was making coffee and dunking my beautiful dress in it. She said the coffee would do a better job for what we wanted. She was right! I loved that dress!!
