You are an angel. You have saved my sanity. My friend and I sponsor a quilters retreat every fall and part of the fun is a Lotto Block Exchange. The pattern we chose for this exchange was the Disappearing Hour Glass and I have had a really terrible afternoon trying to find a pattern that was clearly explained with wonderful pictures and gave us a 12-1/2" unfinished block. Thank you!

I tried it, it turns out beautiful but I found if I cut the original squares 11" instead of 10 1/2" it gives me more play to cut more perfectly back into 7" squares
