Thanks for the great tut. I will use this idea for some of the wall hangings I make for my church. I don't have an embroidery machine either and cannot afford one. It sure would be helpful for what I do for the church though.

Great tut, and you explained and displayed great pictures too........just a thought however. Have you considered using water soluable thread in the bobbin at the zig zag area/stitches. You wouldn't have to use a seam ripper..........just dab with water like with a Q-tip...........but.......I say BUT remember to change your bobbin again for the flower center. Ask me how I know this..........because I forgot to and lost all of my stitching. Sheesh..............calla/Sue
