I'm so glad you posted this just now! I'm making a raffle quilt for our high school baseball team, and want it to be sturdy enough to go to the ball park so I didn't want a hand finished binding. And I didn't think the pin stitch would look right on the quilt. This is the perfect solution! I have done it before, but had forgotten. Thanks for the reminder and the great tutorial. And I love your witch!

Thanks for posting the tutorial. I wanted to do this last spring on the quilt for my daughter's graduation gift but couldn't quite figure it out. Your quilt is so cute and the flange really makes it special.

Thank you so much for this tutorial. Your instructions, and illustrating photos are just excellent. I cannot wait to try this method. I do believe you have shown me the method I can use to finish the binding with machine stitching.
