I was wondering what a hanging sleeve was and what it had to do with quilting. You sure can tell I'm a newbie lol.

if you ever want to enter a quilt in a show you need a 4" sleeve for hanging. i always put a sleeve on quilts in case whoever gets them wants to display them.
