there is also a tutorial for a block called scrappy gretchen which uses 'wings' attached to the sides and achieves the same results without any special rulers...i used it from a quilters magazine out of australia..it was very simple & the results were great...google scrappy gretchen or gretchen quilting block to see the other method...monica in texas

vary pretty , i am going through the tutorials and learning new things, came across yours i love the stars quilts always way afraid to try one i am afraid the points wouldnt line up, wow you all are giving me more waant to try and learn to put on my to do list
