First what is a SABLE quilter? Second: this Joseph coat is fascinating me....went to a local quilt show recently and sat in on a presentation on something very similar to this but her pattern is based on a circle that is segmented with four melon shapes and she hand pieced the melons to the center in a row doing two on each center, joining, and going on.......anyway end result seems to be the same as this.....my question after this long statement is: where is your pattern for your tutorial, I could not find it in the reference sites offered?
I could not find a link to the templates either. And I believe SABLE is something like Stash accumulated beyond life expextancy

Thanks for the tutorial! My friend I saw last week has a vintage Joseph's Coat quilt on one of her beds...I loved the quilt...will try a few "blocks" and see how it goes to decide if I want to make one or not.

Oh my gosh I need to make this!! Thank you so much for sharing the tutorial on how to make this. I love sewing curves and this will be a fun one for our guild to maybe do as a group. I can see them sharing fabrics for variety... or bringing all their scrap boxes in and using them up. That would be really fun.
