I put the tulle in a small circular quilting hoop to keep it stiff, and that works very well for me.

Wow what a good idea, and these could be saved for future use.

Thank You... you may have just solved my quilting a nice pattern problem. I can't always afford to pay a LA quilter and will gladly try this.

I liked the idea of using the Press 'N Seal but my thread kept breaking. Any suggestions to fix this problem? I'm getting ready to quilt another top and would love to be able to use the P 'N S again.
Thanks,
Debbie

Marking for quilting is one of my least favorite tasks. Thank you for a nice, clear, step-by-step tute. And also the subsequent tips in the comments! I'll try this for my next one. Thanks again!

Have seen similar, but your description is better. Thanks! I have yards of net, purchased for scouring cloths and scrubbies that I crocheted a long while ago. I'm all set!

I love this tute, and will be trying it out. I would use it when hand quilting which I enjoy. If someone did a nice notebook thing with these added for someone who doesn't have it, that could make a very special gift too.
