I put the tulle in a small circular quilting hoop to keep it stiff, and that works very well for me.

I love this tute, and will be trying it out. I would use it when hand quilting which I enjoy. If someone did a nice notebook thing with these added for someone who doesn't have it, that could make a very special gift too.
