Thanks for this great Tute... I showed my sewing group the D4P - it is so exciting to do, I call it the Magic 4 patch. Anyhow, they all loved it. I have two girls making quilts using that pattern. AND!!!. NOW!!! you have given us another great design. Can't wait till I show them this..

Wonderful. Thanks. Keep on thinking... And the tutorial was really great.

    Thanks. Julie in Florida (3cats).

The only squares to move are the ones in front of the paper.

From what I understand about charm packs there is only one square of the product line. I purchased 2 packs of each charm pack so I could have an even amount. I wanted 2 of the same pattern with 2 of the same solid color. My charm pack is mainly dark red/ and 3 shades of tan. So it is more muted than if you get the Happy pack moda sells. When choosing the 4 patch blocks I made sure they were a dark block with a lighter block. That way only 2 of my blocks will be the same. I will end up with 40 blocks and I will have good contrast of materia..

I have already made 4 quilts using the D4P and love the way it comes out. This gives me a different take on the pattern and I love it. Thank you for including all of the fine details to your tutorial.

WOW! what great pictures. I can't wait to trythis method. I am at a Marriott Residence Inn while our apartment kitchen and bath are being renovated (been here three weeks already) so I can't startit yet. I can't even print the pictures until I get home. Is there a way to e-mail me the instructions or pictures and I could print them when I get home?
