1 Attachment(s)
Per your request, attached is the tutorial for the Attic Window block. DISCLAIMER: I purposely did not suggest what size block/strips your block should be. Use this as a guide to determine the size of block you want to make. Enjoy! sandy

Thank you! It took about 3 hours to put it together on my Ipad. I used 3 apps to do it. (Picture resizer, text on picture app and a .pdf app. ) Next time ....if there is a next time....it should go together much quicker. It took less time to make the block! LOL!

i have a new appreciation for posting tutorials!

Don't forget to share your successes!

I needed to verify that angle....it is not a 45 degree! Ah, I needed a proof reader!
Sandy. :D

janiesews 08-05-2013 05:08 AM

Thank you - you did a very clear tute and I loved your wall hanging so want to give this a try. Your "wood-like" fabric just makes this so real looking. Again thanks!

Thank you so much! I will be going in a couple weeks with a few friends to Waynesville & I will be stopping by the Fabric Shack. Hopefully, will be able to pick up a panel there along with the brown fabrics. Thanks for not only the tutorial on the quilt, but also for teaching me how to miter!

Lisa_wanna_b_quilter 08-05-2013 07:41 AM

That really made is seem possible! Now my next problem is fabric selection.

Thanks so much for going to the trouble of making a tute for us. I may give this a try soon.

I'm sorry, I know I'm missing something, but I don't understand why the seam is not at a 45 degree angle? Would you spell this out for me?

Thank you so much! Very pretty and helpful. I love the way the frame looks realistic I was wondering where you got your wood looking fabric or what the name of it is? It is perfect for the wood look.

Thank you!

Nyou should be able to find wood looks in the landscape fabric area at a quilt shop. These are from Blank Textiles. I bought them a couple of years ago.
