I would love to make your "star". However, applique is not my thing at all. I would really love to do paper piecing when you get a chance to make it up. No hurry for me though, I have too many projects going now. But please keep me(us) poster. Thank you

The block is absolutely gorgeous. I say that you have used a very unique way to duplicate the block with applique. I've never seen applique done quite that way and I applaud your inventive spirit. Job well done!!! Using the fold lines and Wonder Under is pure genius, and I'm being quite sincere when I say this. I've been quilting for over 25 years and I love finding new ways to quilt or push the envelope with blocks. Keep up the good work.
