Thank you for the tutorial. You did such a good job with the instructions that I am going to try this block. I have done very little applique but I bet I can follow your instructions and pictures and do this one. Thanks so much for sharing it. Both your blocks are beautiful. I love your colors you chose.

I forgot to bookmark this link and was wondering if the PP Pattern was ever finished. Thank you.

sewbelle52 06-02-2011 06:58 AM

Yes. If you PM Candlequilter, she will email it to you if you agree to make a block for her to use in charity quilts.

kuntryquilter 06-02-2011 02:44 PM

I did that & never got a reply.

Candlequilter has been overwhelmed with messages. You can try her again.

kuntryquilter 06-03-2011 01:08 AM

I am glad everyone has enjoyed this
tutorial as much as I have. Well done.
As I am only a recent beginner to Patchwork
need to know
"How would you quilt this block."?

Quilted Dogs 07-19-2011 10:19 PM

littlefoot 08-19-2011 02:46 PM

Thank you, for sharing. Your star is beautiful. I like your color choices. You made your tut look easy. Do you think a beginner could do this?

BettyGee 08-22-2011 06:42 AM

Oh boy, just found this tutorial. I love it! It sure looks much easier than the pieced star that was to follow; however, if you hadn't designed the paper pieced star I never would have learned how to do paper piecing. So thank you, I think.

lolololo 08-27-2011 09:08 AM

beautifully done.

lolololo 08-27-2011 09:12 AM

Thank you.

BettyGee 08-27-2011 09:33 AM

The Candlequilter Star is among the most beautiful patterns I've ever done. Plus I learned so many new things in the process of making my block for Candlequilter. She is a very talented artist and sharing this with us is really terrific.

Corky 08-27-2011 11:41 AM

Hi, Was there ever a PP pattern for this block? I have tried to keep up with the reading but I lost track. I would love the PP version if there is one. Thank you so much. Also is there a place were the directions can be printed from?
