I will try that. I have been trimming them to make them even and it seems like a waste of time and fabric to me...Thanks for your help..

If you want them to all be the same, then after you sew your original 4 blocks together, measure and divide by 3 and cut into that size sections. The size of your original blocks will affect the size of your pieces after you cut them, and they won't all be the same unless you used the same size square as in the tutorial.

I am working on the disappearing 4 patch now. I am making mine scrappy look. Also I am going to quilt as I go with black strips to bring out all the colors.

Thanks so much for this tute! I've made a few quilts with the Dissappearing Nine Patch, but never with the Four Patch...deary me...another project has been born! Thanks...I think? LOL!
