Wow! What a wonderful tutorial! I'll dig my little tool out now; you've made it look so easy!
Thanks! |

I should add that there are two very important things that you should do to make sure you have a successful experience with any of the twister tools:
1. When you cut each block for one row. Stack the first block on top of the 2nd block, make sure you keep them in the order you cut them or you will have a jig-saw mess. Just for safety's sake, use safety pins to keep the blocks attached in their correct order until you reach your comfort level. 2. Make sure you put on borders and remember to cut your first block using those corner borders. This is very important to the process and your success. |
Thanks for this great tute. I bought this ruler a couple of weeks ago, but haven't tried to use it yet as I'm in the middle of a couple other projects I want to finish first.

That is nice! I love the fabric. My question is, How do people figure out how to do these crazy cuts and get neat patterns like that. My mind just doesn't work that way.

If you are careful when you cut around the template, you can use the scraps for another quilt. I started with a layer cake and the large template. I used the scraps and the small template to make a second quilt. The scraps from that were too cute to throw out, so I made a third project with the squares.

Linda OH, Thanks for sharing your three projects. Will have to remember that when I use the big template.

I am fairly new to this so this is the first looking for Easter fabric. This has been a struggle finding Easter fabric.
