I have made them also. They are additive. Never tried the triangle tho. Will see if I can do that one. Thanks for posting.

I have done the one with the triangles as Christmas tree ornaments...just add a loop of ribbon with the ends on the corner under the folded triangles.

Thanks for the tut...I have also made these with 5 inch squares... the onlt thing I did different was to put batting....now you gave me an idea to make hot pads...Thanks :)

I always put a 5" square of warm and natural batting in mine.

I had not seen the one using triangles. They are pretty cute! It would be a great way to use up extra charm squares. Thanks for the lesson.

Very nice. I use this same tecnique to make coasters to fit on the bottom of my wine glasses. No more rings on my tables, I slip them on the glasses before my guests arrive and each one is different so everyone knows what glass is there's.
