Your welcome hun. Go for it. It is so way fun. You don't have to go with the same sizes I use. Experiment with other sizes. :D

I'm the same way. Everytime someone post a picture of the beautiful quilt, I wanna try it. My list is longer then I am tall and I'm 6 ft. lol

Yes. I know the feeling, but ahhhhh never a dull moment here in the quilt world.

That's a great tute Bev and really clear! What a great way to use novelty fabrics - you know, with the little pictures on them. Give them scrappy, wonky frames... have bookmarked and added to the list! :D

Nahhhhh Use whatever tickles your fancy.. I just happened to like and use those sizes. Go for it girl

mah-velous, dahling, simpy mahvelous!
really cute stuff, too :D

another great thing about these blocks is, some of our scraps are not always straight anyway...the motifs, I mean.
With this method, they don't have to be, and it will look like you planned it that way. woo hoo! :D

Great Tute Bev - really well done. I might try one of these - it'll be on my "list" of quilts I want to make. Do you have any photos of a quilt made with these blocks?

scrappy_quilter 07-22-2009 08:21 AM

I really like your tutorial on making these blocks. They go together quickly and make a great kids quilt if you need one in a hurry.
