hi, i had never heard of a jelly roll ...and what confuses me is the word " loop " i very much want to make a jellyroll quilt so w/b watching out for your tutorial...is the pic. of the quilt how the quilt will look like when finished ? thank u so much for posting it....and hope to hear from u......libby

Really great idea for children's charity quilts! You could make it so colorful and with children's patterned fabric, it would be so cute!

Definition of a “Jelly Roll”: One 2 ˝ strip of every fabric in a line (usually 40) stacked up and rolled, then tied with a ribbon and sold at your favorite quilt shop.
"loop" -pretend you have a piece of string..bring the two ends together and at the bottom there is a "loop".
For this quilt you are doubling the long strip and when you get to the end, you will have a loop.
