I appreciate your sharing your pattern and method. I would not have recognized your quilt as a Log Cabin just by looking at it. It is gorgeous. I plan to copy your tutorial and use it soon.

How nice of you to take the time to show how you did your quilt. Going to start cutting my squares. Thanks

You made the instructions so easy to follow with all the pictures. My favorite pattern is the log cabin. Thank you.

Thanks so much for the excellent tute/pics....... About how much yardage for the background?

Wanabee Quiltin 02-17-2016 06:54 AM

Thank you for this, I am always looking for ways to use up my 2.5 inch squares.

I have no idea... I used leftover white fabric on mine. The amount of background fabric you would need would depend on the size and setting of whatever you choose to make.

Thank you so much for your detailed instructions. I can't wait to get started.

Thank you.
I wanted to make this a bit bigger but having a 10" finished block. If I use 7 blocks across and 8 blocks down can I still do a barn-raising pattern? Would appreciate your thoughts.
