Grann,please, could you help me find this tool? I didn't find it in Nancy Notions (I love this site, because they ship to Brazil)... do you know the name of this tool? TY!

Clotilde.com may have it. But here is something I did when I couldn't fine mine. I took a piece of template plastic, the kind with a 1" grid on it, and made markings. I'll take a pic of it; hopefully it will show up. Cut along a line 2" from one corner to 2" on the other side. Then you draw a diagonal line from the center of that side to the opposite corner. You will use the lines 1" up on each side to match the corner on your quilt. The center line should match the corner diagonally. Hope you understand that. If you need more explanation let me know.

This is using the backing as the binding, correct? How would you do it using regular binding?

I'll try to find this template plastic here in Brazil... if I can't, I think it may be easy to shop online, from Nancy Notions or somewhere else...

Yes, it is for using the backing as binding. I do this on all my charity quilts, as it is faster and easier. As far as regular binding, I don't know. I like the usual way to miter a corner for regular binding. Everyone has their own way to do that.
