Ok Great. Thanks so much for sharing, as I have been struggling to make a quilted jacket. I'll wait for the next one. This one is a keeper. Oh buy the way, I love your pictures of the samples of your jacket. Thank you soooooo much.

Thanks for this tutorial! I have a sweatshirt cut apart but it's been sitting there for months and I haven't been brave enough to start. I'll try this!

This is a great tute and an inspiration! This is a project that I've wanted to do for quite some time. Have you ever taken an of the bulk out of the sleeve? (Something I've been thinking about.) We all need to post our finished jackets! Thanks, Terri!

I didn't really find any bulk in the sleeve, but maybe I'm not understanding what you mean as bulk. The sleeve will actually lay flat once the ribbing is off of the cuff.

Can't wait for pt 2 to this jacket. I am large and have a hard time finding a sweatshirt. But I have some odd green sweatshirt fabric so why not cut one out and then do this? I have not seen the finished product but it seems you could use small 1 yr pieces for front, back and sleeves if the actual sweatshirt is not going to show except inside. Hummmmm my juices are flowing. Ok bring on pt 2...Alamoaa

Page 4 has the rest of the tute.
I didn't do one for the binding.
Put the binding on the same way you would do a quilt. Everyone has their own way of binding, so I didn't do that on here.

I am having trouble finding pg 4 I see pgs 8-9 after pgs 1-3 and ....between. I am new to this site and I do not see a search topics in the topics which would be nice instead of cruising thru 234 pages of tutorials. Any suggestions as to how to find a specific quilt pattern or tutorial on a quilted bag etc..? But I think I found the finished jacket on 8-9 but can't access pages between. Sorry but I am a novice here. AlamoAA
