I sure wish I had seen this post before I quilted mine. I was stuck and ended up with quilt in the ditch. It is nice, but it could have been so much nicer.

Your post has given me much to think about when I plan the quilting on my next quilt.

Thanks.

Thanks for the info you put on QB in 6/11. Believe I could work with the first template you listed for my SandW quilt. First I need to get a pic on the QB for all to see the top.

These designs are wonderful. I have made 6 OBW's and these would have come in handy. I will bookmark for the future. I just know I will do another at some point. Thanks so much for sharing.

Carrying this post into it's third year...
I am getting ready to make my first OBW quilt. I'm still looking for the perfect fabric for it. These quilting designs are all great and I'm looking forward to trying them out on my long arm. Sometimes when you are quilting a repeat design you can find easier ways to connect designs or ways to give a little change in them every once in a while. Thanks for giving a place to start if not a way to finish. Great work!

Thanks for posting these templates. Funny how one topic question can be asked by different people on the same day! I need to remember to use the search button before posting. Thanks again for sharing your ideas.
