after watching a tumbler video, it was easy to see that a template could be made using a piece of 5" sq cardboard or plastic. I measured in 3/4" on both sides, but I like yours better at 1". thanks for the pdf.

I just bought the Mis. Qlt. template yesterday but printed your instructions out also. Can never have too much information!

Great pictures and info. Can this also be done with the small 2-1/2 inch squares and that would make it a miniature tumbler?
I have four sets of 2-1/2" blocks. Wouldn't that make a nice
wall hanging or quilt for the back of a love seat.
