Wilhemina, your quilt is STUNNING. the colors are so beautiful and it looks PERFECT!!! You should make that your new avatar! Congrats on putting together this mountain of a project - you're inspiring me to work on mine! Who else has finished or put the top together? I haven't gone back thru the pages, so I'm not sure who is done...

Well here I am again just catching up with you all, Meredith absolutely stunning. Love it the scallops are perfect.

Esq, so glad you are getting back in gear to finish off your quilt.
Still quilting mine QAYG and now on row 11, so nearly there.

See you are all saying how heavy this baby is. I too have used very thin batting and it doesn´t feel heavy at the moment (famous last words). I am going to do mine in two halves. I shall cut the backing in half and then quilt in the ditch then sew the two pieces together, well thats the plan, may have to rethink when the time comes.

Its nice too that others are joining in again, looking forward to seeing all of those as they progress too.

Rachel, I think I am the only one of the original Klue group to finish, but there are now several (about half a dozen?) almost done. Along the way, we had two or three pics/threads of others that were finished, having been started before this thread. I hope I have that right, if not, I am sure someone with a better memory than mine will put me right.

Don't forget that you have to add the weight of your backing fabric into the equation Elle. My DJ is about the same size as the Convergence I have just finished, and it has the same batting in it, but it is quite a bit heavier.

It does make me a bit curious about BlueChicken, Klue and the others there...if they finished and how they turned out. I'm sure they are beautiful, they do such beautiful work.

I don't have her web addy to go see, although I'm sure that Blue does. She has a blog I think if you wanted to contact her. The schedule doesn't have anyone finishing until May of this year though...so they might not be that far along..who knows..

Thank you Kathy. Hang on, here we go with the prep for AOTH, and those over achievers are chomping at the bit! I'm pedaling as fast as I can to just stay in place, not going forward as fast as I thought I would, but I haven't given up on Jane.
