Sulabug, you are a great hostess, thanks for another year of fun.
Tulip........Welcome to this year's BOM project. I am so glad that you changed your mind & decided to join in on all of the fun!! It just wouldn't be the same with out you dear. The color's & fabric's you chose for your Snow Blossom block are so rich & gorgeous looking. Just so, to make me drool!! Will you be using the same fabric's in all of your blocks? Very nice work & we all thank you for sharing with us on the quilting board. Looking forward to February's new block & seeing all of the new creation's!!

    I like your block variations.

I was tempted to make two because I couldn't make up my mind about which fabric to use. The first one took so long to make I decided to wait for February.

Sulabug: Thanks for the warm welcome! That fabric line is from Moda, called Northern Cardinal, it was the left over scraps I had from the quilt I made my husband for Christmas. I agree, it called my name when I purchased it on our Lancaster PA trip last October.
So many beautiful blocks, I wish they were homeless, I'd take them all in...lol

I love all three blocks! It's amazing how different they all look when using different fabrics.

Hi All, new to BOM and is my first time putting together a PP block. Made my block before I found this thread. Browsed through and love all the blocks so far. I didn't realize it is a calender BOM and enjoyed the creativity all have shown. Here Is my first block, didn't realize the directional fabric until I completely finished it. Took me all day since this was a learn as you go process for me. Ripped out more than I stitched, hahahaha. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your group!

I decided not to join in this year's BOM because I'm doing the 50 Fab Stars and also trying to finish both of last year's two BOMs (although I reserve the right to change my mind). But I have been following the thread and watching all the pictures of the snowflakes. What a beautiful pattern and what a gorgeous bunch of blocks. You have all done great work. I too can't wait until February to see what it brings and what you all come up with. It's almost as much fun just to watch.

Tweety.......your Snow Blossom block turned out gorgeous!! The Batik fabric that you chose to put together looks really awesome. What a lovely combination & contrast of colors. Will you be using Batiks for all of your Calendar blocks? We have one other person that is making hers with all Batik fabric's too. So pretty & nice work.

Hey there, nothing wrong with having to make two blocks in February!! It will be so easy to play catch up, so I hope you don't give up, as we would love to see your Snow Blossom block too!! Have fun sewing.
