Wow Lesley....I'm almost speecless!! (of course, not totally..lOL!) First, your block is up to par with the rest..gorgeous! And, you've reached a big milestone my friend! Congrats!!! Again..I bow to you, the Queen of speed and accuracy and beeeeuuuteful quilts"!

Psssttt....I'm thinking that you will have this finished when Terri gets there, so....I think you will have to hide it sooo well that you might not even be able to find it yourself! I'm leaning over...whisper to me where you'll be hiding it...I won't tell, I promise!!

LOL, I did offer to let her sleep under it if it was done, but she didn't seem to keen on that, just more intent on shoving it in her suitcase.

I could always ship all my quilts to my daughter for safe keeping until she has gone off to Elle's.

what a beautiful block...um, all this pilfering and scheming...gypsy cousins do that...hmmm, thinking we may all be related irl after all!
Lace, I could never bring myself to suggest you try anything but a live trap...something extremely humane, but if you catch a Terri, or an Elle, or a Patti in it...wave some cheese around the cage and see if they swoon and sigh ;)

So if they react to the cheese, then they are likely to be your gypsy cousins? What is the best treatment for them then Mousie?

So where does the punishment come in?

I think removal of all needles, scissors/rotary cutters and foot pedals in the house should do it! LOL.

Oye, stop giving them ideas, they got some horrors at the moment without depriving me and Terri of essentials.

That is the whole point of a punishment, isn't it? It wouldn't be forever, just enough to make it a deterrant to never want to steal another's quilt again!
