Great reveal! I love how this all came together, and the secondary design is so well thought out. Another great mystery train ride, many thanks Judy!

Won't be able to sew today but I am planning to try and finish this project tomorrow.

That is a great pattern! I love the on-point look. Thanks so very much, Judy.

Just one question -- you had us start out making nine pinwheels. Do we need 12 as it seems like there are 12 blocks?

Belfry I mentioned in my posting this morning, that you were originally given instructions to make 9 blocks. I made 3 more after my daughter didn't want the top I was making for her. My top will go tot charity.

I had back surgery in January and haven't been able to ride yet---my neurosurgeon wanted me to wait 3 more months---but that wont work...we have a trip planned the last week of June--first week of July---so she asked if I could wait 1 more month? Of course---that will be on the 24th of this month---and of course we are having beautiful weather now!! So I have lots of time to sew. I did a Lawman 1000 a few times---wasnt all that bad--start extra early--take lots of butt breaks---LOL LOL

32 women in my group met up for this ride. I don't like big group rides, plus the courthouses in the northeast corner of Texas were calling me. I rode to different ones each day, & a few others I've infected with the courthouse bug came along. I ended up getting 17 courthouses on this trip, making my current total 171 of the 254 in Texas. Only 83 to go! I've been very tired since getting home, and sewing was a good activity for me on this warm & sunny day. My grand total of miles in one day is 426-not even a half-iron.

Thanks for the explanation, Judy. As you mentioned some of us don't read the script before we look at the pictures. I like the 12 block one better as people are not square. This size will be perfect for a nursing home quilt.

I've been sewing all day - and still have a lot of piecing to do, but I also was planning on 36 block instead of 9. Now that I see the whole pattern, I think I'm going with 5 across and 6 down, and then will use another 12" each side for the border.

I was really excited to see how it was going to look with my fabrics, so sewed up four blocks to put together. I'm glad I kept looking for a background that I really liked.

Macybaby: I agree your background fabric works very well with the other colors. You have a great sense of color combinations.

Conchalea and RJ: I can't imagine riding that far on a motorcycle. However, I have never driven one but my sons have had 'rockets' and they didn't like riding long distances or with a large group. My oldest will be selling his rocket and getting a real motorcycle. Also, Conchalea: Looking for courthouses would be an interesting hobby.
