Kassaundra, love the look of that block! Neckties sound like they might be hard to work with but your block came out so pretty!

Wow Kassaundra, that came out very nice. I think your neckties will be puffier than standard fabric which will make a great 3D effect. That will be a great quilt. Here is my Tennessee. A very "light" star.

Toverly, each block you do is prettier than the last one. Love your color choices.

Thanks Jan, I think my color selection is getting better also. I try not to duplicate but it happens.

Got a table runner done with 4 of my Star blocks, picked out the teal-colored ones. Now, only 46 more to find something to do with LOL!

That looks really great Jan! I love the aqua background ones. I never thought about using the stars for different things. What a great idea. Especially if you don't need a queen or king size quilt.

    Hi Everyone
Once again Toverly your block is lovley and Jan love what you have done with your blocks.
I have spent the weekend putting my quilt together 5 hrs on Saturday going from my bed where I had the quilt layed to pin together, back to the sew machine in the next room to sew all line together, to the ironing board, this took me 6 hrs to get all rows sewn together and this time place on the lounge room floor.
Sunday I started again to get the quilt together, another 5 hrs of walking from 1 room to another I had to take over the kitchen table. Happy to say it is all together it mesures 82in x98in.Luckly I had the house to myself all weekend. Now the fun job to pull off all the paper then to send to the quilter to do her magic. I will post a pitcue of my quilt but still post each block each week, hopefuly I will be able to post a pitcure of it when quilted with the last block.

Here is my Tennesse Block and finish quilt hope you all like it.

Lyn, that is outstanding! I love how you picked up the block colors in the setting triangles. You have made such a calming yet beautiful quilt. Great job--and lots of work. Please post it again when it's back from the quilter's. Congratulations on a beautiful quilt.
