I did this tute a few years ago and wanted to share in case anyone was interested. Couldn't find it on the board, my list of tutes somehow is only 4 pages long so years of tutes are gone! But I found the original in my files and reposted it and and giving you the link.

Love your BH scrappy, I did this in 4-1/2" squares because that is the size I cut most of my scraps into. You did a great job.

Thank you, I will do that then. Does flannel tend to shrink in general?

I like that block--do you have a picture of a whole quilt? I'd love to see what the overall design looks like.

Sorry Angelia, I didn't take a picture of that. It was a charity quilt

OK, here is my first set. I'm doing 2 ... They always look better in a photo, don't they? I was worried that I didn't have enough contrast, but I think they're ok.

Angelia: It's a picture of what I love about scrappies, going to be a great quilt.
Judy: Thank you for sharing the link, beautiful block. Done a lot of string quits but never thought to make half the square a the same fabric. Did you use the same green throughout? Kind of sad about #8 ending next week.

cat -- beautiful! Yes, you do have plenty of contrast.

tron - I think all of us could put out bucket list in a u-haul. Great analogy!

My four center squares with the triangles are coming out to 9" when trimmed. If I go 8.5 or 8.75, points will be lost. It doesn't help that today is colonoscopy prep day! I"m just grumpy!

I'm not too worried about size, it is coming out close to what it should.

Cat, Dot and Tron, those are some beauties!
