Thanks, all, for the compliments to my little bow. It's supposed to bring "out" the coral colored flowers in the background.

I need help with my basket block.... I have the EQ6 program with the additional CD. I was able to print blocks 1,2 & 4 for paper piecing without any problems. I can't get the basket block to print as for paper piecing. I just prints the block like it is a regular block.... help!

    Thanks

I really love your little basket! I was thinking that you could leave the handle the way it is and if you continued the stitching to the basket on both sides nobody would ever notice the different fabric because your eye would follow the stitching. :D

You can do it by putting in your own numbers in the options category. The, after printing out the block, cut it up and just remember to add your 1/4" for the seams allowances all around the seperate sections. Tha't how I was able to do it. I think I cut it into three sections.
I am on my way out the door but will be back this evening, late so if someone else wasn't able to help more or for more details let me know.

If you click on seperate units in your options in EQ6, you won't have to cut your sections apart, nor add the 1/4". It will do it for you automatically! Then just print out your template for the handle. I unstitched the areas where my handle would tuck in.

** I should add that I didn't draw the handle in EQ. I left that off my block and then just added my appliqued handle after the block was paper pieced. Did that make sense?

Why wouldn't you keep them? They are great! I keep telling myself that there are a lot of blocks to make and to think of the whole quilt rather than just each block.
