Oksewglad....great idea. I've been thinking about a project we could all work on together and was getting no where but a sew along?....that would be great to look over each others shoulders and see what we're making, how we're doing it, and just how life is being lived. I bet QNSue could design the best sewing space for us to enjoy and there doesn't seem to be a lack of good cooks.

You bet ... and you can count me in!
It'd be fun to issue different challenges along the way ... or to take ideas and run with them and see how we each mutate it into something different!

OH, there are so many different ways this could be done. It sounds like a lot of fun.

Well we have several months to ponder the idea. We'll be about done with this trail around Thanksgiving.

Join together in the virtual RV??that might be fun!!! I already have my 'blues' done...a nine patch top that needs borders. Pot luck dinners??

Maybe we could all decide on the book or pattern and do it together..something city or farm...that would appeal to both??

Do you have some suggestions to throw into the hat? I don't have a lot of books but there is a lot of chatter about the Elm Creek books/quilts. Have you seen any of them?

Elm Creek would be quite a challenge; cannot do hand sewing at all. Maybe I will take a "time-out" on those that require hand sewing. I have been collecting easy to do scrappy quilting books & patterns. www.quilterscache.com has over 1600 free patterns; I have down loaded about 40-50 of them.
