Thanks JeanieG ... I really liked that orange print and am looking forward to doing a block where I can use more of it. It's so colourful!!! Just put 53 thru 56 up and did a count ... OMG only 39 to go! That really was good news, as I was hoping to get all the blocks done before PC started, but thought I was shooting a little too high ....... so now I really feel it's possible!

These blocks are from the book The Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt by Laurie Aaron Hird. Most of us finished the whole quilt around August. We did 2 blocks a week and it took us a whole year.

We are going to start The Farmers Wife Pony Club Quilt, also by Laurie in January. The blocks are a little bigger, but I think we will still do two blocks a week. Watch for the announcement inviting everyone to join us. It will be out in a few days.
