Great job, Karen! Must be all that snow on the ground that encourages all the quilting! I like all of your blocks, some I will never do or post, and I admire your great job on them.

The book will then lay flat and is much easier to use.
Great idea Alva! I have had the book for over a year, and like you said- life gets in the way. I just now found this thread, so I have some catching up to do!

Karen, great blocks and well done!

Laurafet, welcome! You can make as many as you want to, don't have to keep up with the schedule. It's all up to you. But we love to see pictures

I love looking at everyone's blocks..the different color combos are amazing! Hopefully I will soon figure out how to post mine in this thread! I have a new computer with windows 8 ...not having fun with it! I can get to the part where you pick URL or browse but it won't open the browse..I'll figure it out some day, or find a kid to show me how! In the mean time keep the pictures coming!

    Default First Feb week

Another week! I need to learn to cut my pieces for paper piecing a bit more generously. I think as long as I leave the paper on until the sashing is on it will be ok. Did anyone else reverse applique the posies around the corner? Needle turn was way too bulky for such small pieces. Way too small for machine applique. I have had the book(and had it spiral bound) for several years. I'm glad to have the inspiration to get started. Thank you all!
