Your towels are adorable. I usually make these type of towels to sell at the senior center. The money goes to the senior center for the senior celebrations or whatever.
For those of you wondering where to get some really nice towels at a decent price, Costco has a bundle you can buy. The bundle comes with plain and patterned towels. The plain towels you can applique on and the printed towels I just make a top to put over the oven handle. They do sell very well.
The other thing that makes a nice gift are the aprons that you make from men's shirts. Now is a good time to go to the thrift shop and get long sleeve shirts. Our thrift shop sells them for $3/ea., if they are not a big named brand.
