    That is a beautiful bowl, and what a treasure ! I would consider that a fine piece of treasured art, especially since it was crafted by your grandfather.

    My husband does this also, plus he makes key chains, pens baseball bats, candle holders, cut out figurines like bunnies, puppy dogs etc...he loves anything to do with wood. We have so much wood here..if we burned with wood, we could heat our house for 5 years. Thats why he said he can not complain about my buying fabric and understands why a quilter should have a stash. Now I just need to get a stash. lol
